IN-PERSON AND LIVE ZOOM CLASS OPTIONS

IN-PERSON CLASSES

  • During in-person class time we will dance in designated personal spaces.

  • A medical grade air purifier has been installed that will continually be working to cleanse the air quality in the studio.

  • Ballet barres will be wiped down between classes along with the bathroom counter tops and high touch surfaces such as light switches, and door knobs.

  • We will refrain from sharing any props typically used for class.

  • For classes that exceed capacity limitations, there will be a rotation system put in place.  This will be handled on a class by class basis and you will be notified individually about the need for a rotation system.  In short, when it's your "rotation day", you will be asked to zoom the class live from home which would occur approximately once every 10 weeks.

  • Our remote class option is recommended for any student who feels they may have been exposed to Covid-19 or students who have other illnesses throughout the season.  If there is a return to an earlier phase of lock-down, our classes will all continue as scheduled via zoom.  We hope that as time goes on that we are seeing more and more of you in studio and that we can regain our previous procedures of standard dance class operations.

REMOTE CLASSES

  • We understand that returning to the studio for in-person classes is not possible for everyone.  In order to continue offering you dance training we have installed high tech professional grade filming equipment along with large viewing screens.  All of our classes will stream live to enrolled students.

  • Teachers will offer instruction to both in-person and remote learning students simultaneously.  Classes will not be recorded for later viewing as we desire to create a "live" experience for all of our students.

  • This option is also recommended for any student who feels they may have been exposed to Covid-19 or students who have other illnesses throughout the season.  If there is a return to an earlier phase of lock-down, our classes will all continue as scheduled via zoom.  We hope that as time goes on that we are seeing more and more of you in studio and that we can regain our previous procedures of standard dance class operations.

  • We recommend each student create their in-home studio environment by making the necessary private space for class.  Dancers will need at least a 6'x6' cleared area.  A chair can be used for the barre and vinyl flooring can be placed down for safety when turning and jumping.  Dancers will also need quality wifi in order to zoom efficiently. If you have questions about specifics please email us at thespace@projectdance.com. We are happy to assist you with creating a proper dance space in-home.

  • Only those enrolled students will be admitted into the zoom class. Parent observation will be allowed from time to time.  These observation classes will be scheduled ahead of time.  If you feel you need to observe via zoom, please request to observe via email prior to the class.

  • When you are ready to return to in-person classes, please notify us via email and we will arrange for your attendance.
