The Space @ Project Dance is dedicated to fostering a positive, respectful, and inspiring learning environment rooted in respect, collaboration, encouragement, and creativity among faculty, students ages 3 and up, and their families.
DANCE TRAINING
The Space @ Project Dance offers a conservatory-style training curriculum within the warmth and accessibility of a studio setting. This unique approach allows young dancers to build meaningful friendships and a strong sense of community while receiving the technical foundation, artistic development, and professional guidance needed to pursue a future in the dance world—whether as performers, teachers, choreographers, or leaders in the arts. Each faculty member brings an extensive professional career in their specific field of dance and is passionate about sharing that wealth of knowledge with the next generation. Through intentional training, mentorship, and performance opportunities, many of our students have gone on to dance professionally, major in dance at the university level, and attend respected performing arts high schools.
PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
We recognize that each of our attending dancers has various goals to reach in their dance training and experience. We offer performance opportunities in order to meet some of those goals. Whether it is performing in A Carolina Snowbelle Christmas during the holiday season, or our annual spring showcase at the end of the training year, we offer customized appearances, competitions, and outreaches in order to work with each dancer and their family to accomplish these goals.
WORKSHOPS & INTENSIVES
The Space @ Project Dance offers annual workshops and intensives. Each year we host Kick It Up, a precision dance summer intensive. We also offer workshops in various dance styles where we are able to bring in professional guest artists from around the country who have enjoyed professional careers on Broadway, Film and Television, Ballet Companies and Contemporary Companies.
